Doulas are trained and experienced in childbirth. My role as your doula is to provide physical, emotional and informational support to mothers and their partners during labor, birth and postpartum. It is the doulas task to also assist families to gather information to important information regarding topics like delayed cord clamping, suggested and safe herbs, placenta delivery options and more. Doulas can do and use tools such as massage, a birthing ball, breathwork, music, aromatherapy, healing crystals, visualization, and tips on positioning. The most crucial role of the doula is providing continuous emotional support, advocacy and reassurance while using various healing techniques and comfort measures.

• Postpartum in-home visit within 2 weeks after the birth This time is to answer any questions the client may have regarding the baby and lactation; as well as reviewing the birth and giving feedback regarding my role. During this time, the postpartum vaginal steam or/and healing bath will be initiated.
